Simplicity

Simplicity is the natural companion of purpose. With a clear purpose for what we do, we naturally turn away from the superfluous and the distracting. When we’re young, we often reject it, mistaking it for a lack of ability or ambition. It’s only when we grow wise that we recognise its value. Simplicity is the shortest road to our goal.

Simplicity is the obvious conclusion once we realise, and feel, that life is short. The opposite of an empty existence, it is an existence filled with the essential. A life filled with the presence of our loved ones, interesting encounters, engaging activity, nourishing food, plentiful rest, the right possessions: Simplicity.
